EAGLE Club
EAGLE Club 1

E.A.G.L.E. (Earth Advocates, Green Leaders for the Environment) Club

E.A.G.L.E. Club is a once-a-week, school-year afterschool program that incorporates the four sides of the Eagle Eye “pyramid:” learning about Agriculture, Cities, Water and Forests.  Each 7-10 week unit is designed to follow the general contours of our signature Learn About Forests ™ program:

  • A virtual “walk-in” that allows youth to explore the topic, led by their own curiosity
  • “Self,” “Community” and “Nature” exploration that dives into the science and how it relates to people
  • “Stewardship” or service learning that gives back to the community and nature
  • Fun and celebration
  • A debrief and chance to reflect

In addition, each unit incorporates at least one guest instructor and at least one field trip related to the content, giving groups the opportunity to relate their learning to their own larger community.

TESTIMONIALS

“I am reaching out to you to thank you for how much the students appreciated yesterday's experience in class with you. They look at the city with different eyes now, and feel empowered making suggestions as to what they would like to see in their city, thus helping them create a sense of belonging, and inspiring a vision with intentionality. That is very important!”
