Ellie Viggiani

Youth Education Coordinator

Ellie received her B.A. in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Politics from Mount Holyoke College in May 2020 before joining TerraCorps (AmeriCorps).

At Mount Holyoke, Ellie focused on restoration ecology and environmental education. She had the opportunity to intern on the Elwha Restoration Project with Olympic National Park and the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe and create a place-based environmental science curriculum for an elementary school in Hadley, MA. She was actively involved in the Restoration Ecology Program at Mount Holyoke as well as the Mount Holyoke Outing Club.

Ellie is serving in a split position with Eagle Eye and their partner site Kestrel Land Trust for the 2020-21 service year and is excited to share her passion for the outdoors with students and community members. Outside of her service, Ellie enjoys backpacking, playing guitar, reading, and writing children’s stories.
