David was introduced to Eagle Eye through his Cambridge office cleaning service. His service provided cleaning to The Travel Collaborative's Arrow Street location where Eagle Eye's Co-Founder, Maja Kietzke, was a partner. David's enthusiasm for nature came from his Grandmother, who loved all things about the land. He spent summers in his youth on her farm located on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
"I remember my first outing with Eagle Eye as we all filled a van from Somerville for the three hour drive to Eagle Eye's Peru, Massachusetts, site. We were excited, many of these young folks were on their way to experience nature for the first time; some had never been out of the city. I cannot tell you the heartfelt moments I experienced while witnessing the joy these youth expressed as we all encountered nature...we were excited just to see new and different bugs! That is where my connection with Eagle Eye Institute began. Now 30 years later, my love for Eagle Eye and for those who will join us in the coming years continues. Through the guidance of our special volunteers and staff, I look forward to continuing my support to an organization that transforms so many lives at no cost to our young participants."
