Chris Cato

Chris became a member of Eagle Eye Institute's Executive Team after several years of engaging youth organizations in Eagle Eye's Learn About and Career Bridging programs. Growing up in the South End neighborhood of Boston, Chris spent his summers as a camper/counselor/administrator at a residential camp in New Hampshire, where his love for the outdoors was fostered and cultivated into a career in youth development through environmental awareness and leadership.

A member of the Eagle Eye Foundation Team since 1996, Chris has over 30 years of experience in community organizing and youth leadership, with a focus on workforce development, outdoor education, environmental awareness, and responsibility. He is the former Green Initiative Project Manager at YouthBuild USA. YouthBuild USA’s global green initiatives were born through collaboration with Eagle Eye and youth-serving organizations throughout the United States. As a result, YouthBuild programs globally are pursuing green building practices and environmental literacy.
