Activities vary depending on youth ages and experiences, site location, instructors and youth organization goals. Activities may include: feeding chickens, milking cows, planting seeds, harvesting vegetables, cooking, conducting soil experiments, collecting and identifying insects, learning about erosion, compost and plant anatomy and/or discussing the health and environmental concerns regarding food production.
