Chris Cato

Chris became a member of Eagle Eye Institutes’ Executive team in 1996 after several years of participating in the Learn About Forest program as a community youth organizer in Somerville MA. Chris has 30 years of experience in community and youth development with a focus on education and training, workforce development, youth leadership and environmental responsibility. He is currently the Green Initiative Project Manager at YouthBuild USA. YouthBuild USA’s national green initiative is in large part the result of collaboration with Eagle Eye Institute. Chris routinely uses his experiences with Eagle Eye to raise environmental awareness and leadership with the many programs and organizations he works with throughout the United States. In addition to Eagle Eye’s influence on Chris’s professional life, he routinely works to involve his family and community in activities that bring people into a closer relationship with nature. Chris is also the Vice President for the Camp Hale Alumni Association and the Senior Warden of the executive committee for St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Boston.
